Summary:

Canan is the only student who survives a bloody vampire attack that takes all of her friends and fellow classmates from her high school. But the survival comes with a price; Canon is now a newborn vampire. She struggles against the needs that capture the common vampire in order to commit herself to use her new powers for good and good only. She does whatever she can to avenge the death of her friends and her own unfortunate fate. She befriends a talking vampire crow, Fuui, and begins her suspenseful quest for vengeance against the one who did this to her.

Megan says:

Dark, mysterious and deadly. Canon Volume 1 lures you in both visually and literally. The female lead, Canon, is a strong character with delicate feelings as her past tortures her, making her thrive on revenge. Her trusting friendship with the vampire crow is both hillarlious and meaningful as we watch Canon struggle for information regarding her maker, the one who killed all of her friends back at school. I really enjoyed this manga and feel teens with a vampire addiction will certainly be entertained!
